Mother’s Day celebrations in Columbus will certainly be… different this year. It’s usually one of the busiest days of the year for restaurants but, with dining rooms still closed, many restaurants will instead be offering carry out or meal kits. Here’s a list of all of the restaurants we know of offering such Mother’s Day options. We’ll be adding to it as more announce their plans. We’ve also added some other ideas for making the day special. Please feel free to send us suggestions.

Brunch

The Whitney House is offering an a la carte Mother’s Day Brunch menu (touch free carry out pick up available Sunday 10am-4pm). To order call 614.396.7846

La Chatelaine have a special Mother’s Day menu including quiches, tarts, madeleines and mimosas. Order by Friday May 8th, pick up Sunday May 10th.

Cameron Mitchell Premier Events are offering brunch in a box for either 4-6 people or 8-10 people. Entree options include ham and/or turkey and there are lots of optional extras. All orders must be placed by Tuesday, May 5 at 5 p.m.

Lopaus Point Waffles are offering a brunch in a box with delivery in Upper Arlington and Grandview. The box includes waffles and an assortment of other locally made products including North Country Charcuterie coffee rubbed bacon.

Tommy’s Diner are 0ffering Mother’s Day Brunch Packages that can feed 4-6 people. Check their Facebook page for details.

The Lox Bagel Shop will be open normal hours on Sunday.

Bonifacio are offering pre-ordered brunch options. See their Instagram for details.

Third and Hollywood and Northstar Cafe are both open for brunch on Mother’s Day.

Dinner

Cameron Mitchell Premier Events are offering dinner in a box for either 4-6 people or 8-10 people. Choose from Bistro Dinner in a box or Italian Meal in a box and add on wine and/or flowers. All orders must be placed by Tuesday, May 5 at 5 p.m.

The Table (Short North) have a carry out menu for Mother’s Day weekend, order by Thursday 4pm for Friday curb side pick up from 5-8pm. Options include a charcuterie board, a pasta meal for 4 people and baked goods including passion fruit curd cake.  You can even add on some grocery items.

The Refectory is offering a Mother’s Day Home Dinner (pick up Friday May 8th and Saturday May 9th). Call 614.451.9774 to order.

101 Beer Kitchen has family meal specials for Mother’s Day. Order online by Wednesday May 6th. Pick up May 10th. You can also add a bouquet to your order.

Akai Hana is taking online orders for Mother’s Day.

Dos Hermanos is offering Mother’s Day bundles (preorder on their website) and pick up Saturday or Sunday.

Bakeries

Sassafras Bakery have reopened and their take and bake menu includes pot pies, biscuits and cookie kits. Their pick up window is open Thursday-Saturday 9am-1pm and everything must be ordered in advance.  They also have assorted quiches, available whole and by the slice, iced sugar cookies and jelly-filled Donut Muffins.

Tupelo Donuts are offering a limited availability package of floral inspired donuts, a chocolate and a bath bomb available for pre order and available May 8th-10th.

Quinci Emporium is offering a semolina cake with fresh berries and cream and everything you need for a picnic. Call to order, open 11am-4pm.

Macaron Bar are doing a buy 12 get 6 free macaron offer through the end of May and also free shipping for online orders. Order by Wednesday May 6th for delivery by Mother’s Day or pick up in store.

Dough Mama is taking online orders for Sunday pick up.

Miam Cake are offering Mother’s Day chocolate and macarons for Mother’s Day.

Cambridge Tea House have a special Mother’s Day menu this week.

Flowers

Flowers and Bread are opening their studio for Mother’s Day weekend. Flowers and candles are pre-order only for contactless delivery or pick up on Friday, May 8th or Saturday, May 9th. There will be peonies!

North Market Blooms are reopening and will be taking phone orders beginning May 5th. You can also order on their website.
